Improve strength, flexibility and endurance.
This workshop is designed for cyclists to learn easy stretches before and after your rides. Through a sequence of yoga poses you will develop a better sense of balance on and off your bike, stretch over worked muscles, (quadriceps, gluts, hamstrings, IT band, psoas, piriformis, calves and shoulders), build strength in your core for improved endurance and efficiency while riding and learn to relax and breathe during your ride and recovery.
There will be an emphasis on minimizing chance of injury during your ride through strength, breath and awareness training. This two hour workshop is the perfect match for novice to serious riders, as well as for anyone with tight hips, hamstrings and weak abdominals. Join us for this informative, challenging, fun and restorative 2 hour workshop, with instructor and avid bike rider Rhiannon Kirby ERYT200 Ashtanga Vinyasa Certified.

Join us for a one hour Vinyasa flow lead by David Duerkop to benefit The Huntington's Disease Society: Great Lakes Region.
The Huntington's Disease Society of America is the largest 501(c)(3) non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to improving the lives of everyone affected by Huntington's disease. Founded in 1968 by Marjorie Guthrie, wife of folk legend Woody Guthrie who lost his battle with HD, the Society works tirelessly to provide the family services, education, advocacy and research to provide help for today, hope for tomorrow to the more than 30,000 people diagnosed with HD and the 250,000 at-risk in the United States.

4:00pm: Meet at Tula for Running in Palmer Square Park
5:00pm: Yoga at Tula
The runners club will meet once a month at Tula Yoga Studio during the fair weather seasons.
We will go to nearby Palmer Square to run for about 45 minutes, followed by a 1 hour yoga class at Tula. Nathan will accompany the students on the run, and will then teach postures and yoga concepts that can be helpful for the runner's body in building strength, better biomechanics, joint exercises, and targeted stretching.
You are encouraged to come with questions, complaints, and an open mind for exploring the relationship between a Yoga practice and a running practice.
Anyone is welcome to join at any time.
