Teaching Schedule: Substitute teacher.
Katie was drawn to yoga as a coping tool, as a way of connecting with her body and creating space for personal growth and self-exploration. It has since become an integral part of her livelihood and she loves being able to have the opportunity to share the gift of yoga with others. As a full-time mental health/trauma therapist, Katie frequently witnesses the amazing healing and transformation that can take place when mind and body find balance. She completed her 200-hour Teacher Training through Tula, apprenticing under Rhiannon Kirby, and feels fortunate to call Tula her home studio. In her classes, you can expect a balanced vinyasa class with breath work and guided meditation, and to hopefully leave class feeling more centered and connected with body, mind and spirit.
