Yoga for Specialized Populations

Learn how to make the practice of yoga more accessible for larger bodies, advancing age and others with commonly encountered conditions and injuries. This training session will cover teaching and practice philosophy, approach, room set-up/atmosphere, class structure, and demonstration and practice of suggested poses and other key yoga elements. The basic Sun Salutation sequence and a range of poses, including from various reclining, seated, hands and knees, and standing positions, will be addressed along with modification techniques and props.
