Join Indu to this practice, where Yoga becomes a work-in and practice becomes sadhana. As we join our hands in Namsate, may our hearts unite as a single beat, may our feet move forward together and may we all rise in Yoga.

Shakti Mudra

Shakti simply means pure, flowing energy. It is the source of any form or shape of matter that exists or every existed. When we awaken such a source within is, we become empowered.

Shakti Mudras are a group of hand and body gestures that allow the consolidation of the scattered energy into a laser beam of sankalpa. There is no better time then NOW to rise up, wake up and stay awake.

Intro to Marma Points in Asanas

3pm-6pm

This workshop will focus on yoga for the energy body through manipulation of the Marma points. Students will learn the sacred anatomy and geometry of our human forms, and how to use the tool of asana to instill balance and wellbeing to our subtle systems.

The marma points are powerful pressure and touch points on the body that regulate the flow of energy within. In learning how to address the Marma points through specific yoga asanas you will be able direct the flow of energy, (dosha and gunas) in the body and mind to great effect.

Ayurvedic Night Routine & Guided Relaxation

Ratricharya is a 10-step Ayurvedic routine to maintain health.

We often hear that Ayurveda suggests a daily ritual called Dinacharya: daily routine. However very few know about the routine associated with the evening hours known as “Ratricharya”. This 10-step routine helps in calibrating the 12-hour lunar cycle. It promotes deep sleep, rest, rejuvenation, cleansing and strengthening of immunity.

Learn how to log your practice and observe the improvement in your health. Learn the importance of healthy routines of sleep, diet, sex, cleansing and Yogic practices before bed. A must for all!

Indu Arora, Ayurveda and Yoga Therapist considers herself a student for lifetime. She has been sharing about Yoga philosophy, Yoga Therapy and Ayurveda since 1999. She is inspired by and taught under  Kriya Yoga, Himalayan Yoga, Kashmir Shivaism and Sivananda Yoga lineages. She has studied both Yoga and Ayurveda in a traditional Guru paramapara setting.
