After celebrating the Summer’s harvest and long, sun-drenched days, Autumn begins to take hold. You become aware of the nights growing longer, the air getting crisper, and the leaves changing color before they gently release to the ground. Nature quietly signals to us that it’s time to begin moving inwards in preparation for winter. At the fall equinox, the hours of daylight and darkness are equal, reminding us to pay attention to the balance within our own lives. Autumn is a season of transition, finding balance, non-attachment, and letting go.
At the Goddess in Balance Yoga Retreat, you’ll begin to looks inwards for healing and release. You’ll visit your life intentions and let go of what’s holding you back and keeping you out of balance. Through practicing yoga, eating nutritious vegan meals, spending time in nature, and workshops, you’ll connect with yourself and fellow goddesses in a deep, nurturing way.
Bonus: It’s Halloween weekend! The true meaning behind Halloween has been mostly forgotten, but Halloween was considered one of the most important days of the year. It signaled summer’s end and a time “when the spiritual and material worlds touched for a moment, and a greater potential exists for magical creation.”
