Group Yoga Classes

At Tula, we approach yoga as a path of awareness rather than a workout. All of our classes include physical practice, but movement is only one part of yoga’s deeper aim: to cultivate presence, self-understanding, and a more liberated way of being. We teach from the understanding that the deepest practice is not found in constant motion, but in the capacity to listen, feel, regulate, and come into deeper relationship with body, breath, mind, and subtle energy. Rooted in mindfulness, somatic movement, meditation, breath practice, and yoga philosophy, our classes offer a more intentional and inwardly connected experience of yoga. We also see yoga as a process of education, one in which teachers and students engage together through inquiry, practice, and embodied learning over time.
