TULA’s Teacher Training Student Agreement
Requirements of Certification:
Students in TULA’s RYS 200-hour Teacher Training commit to the following requirements:
Attendance in each training sessions to be held at TULA each Wednesday evening from 7:30 - 10:30pm and each Saturday from 1pm - 6pm, starting on October 2, 2019 and concluding on March 27, 2020. (Please see the syllabus for holidays that are scheduled off)
Attendance in at least 3 yoga classes per week at TULA for the duration of the training. (arrangement MAY be made to take yoga classes at other studios but only if they are communicated beforehand to Rhiannon)
Obtaining all the required books and completing all reading assignments for the training.
Actively using our project management system, Basecamp, to communicate with your teachers and your peers.
As regulated by Yoga Alliance, to receive certification, a student must complete 200 hours of training.
Each time that you attend a training workshop, be sure to sign into our attendance sheet so that your attendance can be counted.
All absences or tardiness should be communicated to Rhiannon at firstname.lastname@example.org
Each trainee is allowed to miss up to 10 hours of required training sessions and/or class attendances.
Hours missed in excess of 10 hours will need to be made up at the end or during the training at the trainee’s own expense.
Hours that are to be made up must be coordinated with Rhiannon to receive the proper credit towards certification.
- Full tuition is due on the first day of training.
- No partial or full refunds after the first day of training.
- In event of illness or other cancellation, the student will be granted a spot in the next YTT.
